Hannibal was irratible at this moment in time. He was very annoyed but of course kept up the usual charming, sweet Elite that he always was. He had left a very clear note to Kate up in the dorm. He prided himself on his writing (which was neater than hers) and made it very clear he was angry, making it a messy scrawl. He'd told her to meet him in the garden, and there he waited.
He was under a large Willow tree that the Elites had claimed as their own. He was leaning back against he trunk of the large tree, his face was darkened by the branches above but for those who dared come close his face was in a tight scowl. Hannibal's arms were folded across his chest, his feet stretched out infront of himself. His finger tapped the side of his arm, he was usually patient but after the things he'd heard he was in no mood to be patient.
Of course the Norms were good at spreading rumors. He really couldn't trust when they said Kate was flirting with a Freshman, and it was Zodiac. He'd been planning to question her about him anyway but the rumors made the meeting happen all the quicker. The time seemed to be going forever and a small snarl escaped his lips.
However the snarl caught in his throat the at the sight of a blonde girl coming toward him. He stood up, but kept his back against the tree, the scowl in it's place and waited. He hoped the sight of a rare scowl would make Kate and stop and realize her mistakes.

Kate walked to her dorm and found a note by Hannibal. Kate was slightly scared by the writing, she knew when it was messy-er then her own he was angry. Kate sighed and placed her bag on her floor and locked the door, and at a slower then normal passe , she eventually made it down to the gardens and towards the large Willow tree.
Kate was even more frightened when she saw his face. She finally made it up to him and looked down at the ground in front of him.
"You wanted to talk to me Hannibal? I was so happy that the first communication when back at school is a note saying to meet you here. Thanks" She made sure he could sense her sarcasm, she was annoyed that he had made no attempt to even find her when she wasnt in class.
She pulled out her pack of smokes and lit one.
Kate sat down against the tree next to her longtime friend waiting for him to get out what it was he wanted to say.
She had the feeling that it had something to do with the rumors the normies were spredding about her flirting with Zodiac, but sadly Kate knew on the inside, that it wasnt the normal rumors, and that these ones were completly true. Kate was sad that it was Hannibal and not Zodiac who had noticed who she was liking.
Taking a drag Kate looked at him in his piercing eyes.

Hannibal ignored the sarcastic greeting from her. He was not in the mood for her wit nor her attitude problems. He was annoyed that she was staring at the ground rather than him as he spoke. A common thing though, marron eyes like his had the habit of being intimidating. However he didn’t really care too much about scaring her, that was exactly his intention. He would have felt some guilt for not finding her and saying hello, but the rumors had caught his attention and he only felt anger. His face took on that of disgust as she lit a smoke. He found that rather rude but decided to ignore it for the time being.
He looked sown as she sat, but he remained upright. That was fine, it made him more frightening when he was standing. He paused and let her sit in silence for a moment then cleared his throat and spoke to her.
“I hear you’ve been hanging about with a Normie…” He growled, his voice angry. He was being a hypocrite… After all Clarisse was one. He let that little fact slide though but had a feeling it might come up in Kate’s defense. He’d wait for it. “Actually Kate, I’ve heard that you like this norm, Zodiac. What are you thinking? He is a NORM. He will be the end of us if you let him glimpse our world and spread it. If he knows we will have to take care of him Kate…”
Hannibal’s voice was steady but angry. He had hoped she would understand that if a Norm knew their secrets, theirs… Hobbies that they would be in trouble. The Headmistress could only cover up so much, if a letter was mailed revealing anything they were screwed. Hannibal could not believe that Kate would risk that.

Kate glared at Hannibal, "how dare you call him a normie! he is one of us you fool, and isnt the kettle calling the pot black? you hang out and are basically in LOVE with that clarisse freak. Dont you dare get mad at me for hanging out with him"
Kate sighed and took another puff of her smoke, and started getting up to leave, somehow she knew Hannibal wouldnt allow her to leave. She somehow knew he wasnt done yelling at her.
She turned back at him and looked him in the eyes, making sure to let him know she wasnt afraid. "and what if i like him, is that so bad? who else do i have to choose from, Jason? Michael? Sweenie? You know that Jason and Michael are afraid of me, and Nellie would KILL me if even looked at Sweenie as if i liked him, even though i dont like ANY OF THEM, I LIKE ZODIAC!!" Kate was screaming by the end of it, and started to cry, this was exactly what he had wanted, to make her feel inadequete and like she had done something wrong.
"Why-why do you need to be so mean to me? i thought i was your friend" Kate sobbed and took another puff of her smoke and glaired at him. and muttered something that sounded like Hypograte.

Hannibal didn’t really pay that much attention to what she said. He heard it but didn’t mark it or anything. After all he wasn’t here to listen to her go on about Zodiac. However he would let her get everything she had to say out before interrupting. He was often polite that way, he let people get their side across, then and only then would he state his. However he couldn’t keep the surprise and disgust from his eyes when she started crying. He hardly cared if she didn’t like the other Elites in a romantic way. Zodiac was a threat and Hannibal was not fond of threats, threats were always eliminated.
“Why are you crying Kate?” Hannibal asked, managing to keep his voice as steady and calm as always with only a hint of disgust lacing his words. He paused for a moment then raised an eyebrow. “And Kate, how can you like him so very much? You’ve known him for what? Two hours at most? The waterworks seem a bit over dramatic,” He stopped and looked at his fingernails, his face clearly unimpressed by her attitude. “But if you insist on liking this Zodiac boy I have some very specific things to state. First off it is true that I have…an interest for Clarisse. However I have full intentions on turning her into one of us. I you are planning on turning Zodiac to our side of the world then I can accept that. However first you must prove to me he would be willing to actually commit a murder. Once you can prove this I will allow you to turn him to an Elite. If not, have fun with him but do not get angry if he…vanishes into the night,”

Kate glaired "im crying because you are being horrible to me! the first time i see you back at school you call me here to tell me not to go for a guy? because he isnt your type?" Kate was angry, and now she couldnt control her emotions she turned and walked to be face to face with Hannibal, before he reilized what was happening Kate slapped him in the face.
"I've known him more then 2hours thanks, and you would know that if you got off your ass and came to see me when i got to school!" She was fuming and spoke clearly "i will not force him to kill anyone, if he chooses to then he will, obviously the Headmistress thinks he will because she put him in the elite dorm! like frick!"
Kate took another long drag of her smoke and blew it in his face, knowing it would piss him off even more.

Hannibal blinked slowly and then blinked again as he was slapped. Of course it rather stung the side of his face and his anger flared deeply inside him. However he did not strike back nor make any movement. He didn’t even raise a hand to the side of his face as most men would do in that position. Instead he did quite the opposite and took the smoke from her hand and slowly squished it under his shoe. Once he was sure it was put out he looked at Kate, his eyes were darkened with anger but his presence and posture were calm and collected. Elegant and handsome as always. His usual charming smirk made it’s way to his face, but didn’t reach his eyes.
“I do not care what the Headmistress thinks Kate. Nor do I really give a care about what you think. As I’m quite certain you’ve noticed I am quite self absorbed. “He said, the calm coolness of his voice almost eerie. “Nor does your life matter to me Kate. Or Zodiacs or anybody’s but my own. I will not force him to do anything nor you. However remember this, I do not want to go to jail or any confinement of the sort. If there is an investigation because your dear Zodiac makes a squeal or a mistake none of my friends will help you. Not Sweeney, not Jason, not Freddy not me. You will have to prove your own innocence, and if it comes to endangering us Freddy would quite easily give you up. And if you cry and blubber like this to the cops they will not be as…accepting as I am. You choose your own fate over this…Boy”
With that he gave her a slight bow of his head and stode past her toward the castle. He didn’t look back once as his feet took him to the door. Only when he arrived at the door did he turn back to give Kate an almost cruel smile before sweeping through the door.
